Okay... maybe an old one. I just saw this on GB and had never heard of the 5mm Clement..., so a quick Wiki search found this:
"The 5 mm Clement is a centerfire cartridge produced for early self-loading pocket pistols made Charola-Anitua and a 1903 design by Clement. The steeply conical, bottle-necked case is semi-rimmed, but headspaces on the shoulder of the case. The long bullet was inadequately stabilized and tended to tumble in flight. The Charola-Anitua pistol was produced in very limited numbers, and Clement pistol production shifted to the .25 ACP cartridge after 1906."
Sounds like they had some kind of "Remington" illness/problems!
And this from a UK site:
Pretty cool !!
PS: The guy that's selling these on GB (box of 100 cartridges) thinks they are made out of solid gold! $850 w/a BIN of $1K. Some folks are just insane.
A New 5mm...???
