I got up at 4:00am this morning so I could get up to an area that is legal to shoot the 5mm Rimfire at ground squirrels.  Most shots were within 75 yards and I only missed twice!   :-

It's been a good morning, but the heat has kicked in so I'm heading home.

Here are the results:

I've got a video, but my phone won't let me post it because it's too big (no action shots, just explanation of the damage).  I'll post it when I get home.

The Centurion Varmint ammo does a lot of damage.  Once I can upload the video, you will see what I mean.

What size scope do you have on your rifle...

I have a 3x9 scope on my rifle.  It was on it when I bought it, so I left it!  If I did ever have to replace it, I would probably get better glass with a bit more power (maybe 3x12).

Thanks for the good report Eric! Looks like the new varmint bullet is quite a bit more explosive. I will try and get a couple boxes lined up before I leave on my next trip to the PD towns in the first week of August to try out for myself.
